I’m going to arrange for my gf to have a trial flight in a 152. The logic is that hopefully she will enjoy it, and therefore deem it a worthwhile past time. 😉

Which is more than she thinks about the cars 🙁

    Lets hope it goes well

    If you have the money.

How much is a digi SLR £1,500, it was a while since I last looked. But when you compare that to £300 for a half decent 35mm then for the entusiast/hobbiest then the 35mm will be on top 100% of the time.

Quality, you’re right digi is as good and the format does lend itself to design companies etc, but they have the money for the equipment. 😉

There is certainly a great deal ‘low costs’ popping up now.

No wonder BA is concentrating on the upper end of the market.

No competition, the 35mm every time.

In my experience unless you want to spend a lot of cash on a digi SLR then the 35mm will always be the winner, not just in quality but the different lenses you can slap on them.

My biggest gripe of standard digi cameras is the lack of a quality zoom. However if you’re a bit snap happy at least you can ‘select’ which photo’s get developed (ie printed)

If anyone is serious about photographing then they will have the right equipment for the right job.

    nice pics by the way.

Might be a bit off the wall and far fetched but….

With all of our advancements in materials etc, there must be the possibility that a transparent wing could be manufactured.

Obviously there’s gonna be some light refraction owing to the shape of the wing, but could be an idea!

How about the first fully transparent aircraft, one step further than a glass bottomed boat. 😀

There must have been a few clips that went into that car.

Out of interest what calibre ammunition was it? 5.56 or 9, I know windscreen glass is practically bullet proof, but after that number of shots I would have thought the glass would give way.

    A terrible accident never-the-less.

Hadn’t even heard they were doing it!

Hollywood certainly seems to be running through the old classics, Hulk, Daredevil, X-Men, Spiderman, Scooby Doo etc

Lets hope they don’t cack it up 😡

Apparantly the guy in the back had been a naval officer given a ride in the Tom. On a neg G Maneuver he had instinctibely grabbed something on the underside of the seat… you can guess the rest 😀
