Check out the book “Canada’s Air Force Today” by Larry Milberry. There are some good photos of obsolete aircraft at MV in the 80’s.
I do recall seeing some Voodoos at MV.
I thought there was a photo by Eric Dumigan of some 101’s sitting in the scrap yard at Crawford’s in Belleville.
yep, two 101’s.
I’m planning on taking my young Patrick next year.
We’ll have to meet up.
I heard that the Clunk was removed from the camp because a cadet fell and broke a leg while climbing the aircraft.
They still have to remove the Voodoo. They were lifted into the cadet cadet by a Chinook helicopter years ago.
It sounds like there are no plans for them.
Excellent video & photos! I’m still sorting though mine….
This was my first opportunity to visit Vintage Wings. No surprises, I have heard nothing but great things about Mr. Potter and his fine tuned organization. Saturday’s open house let me see this for myself.
I guess you shouldn’t charge admission at an open house event, but it’s hard to believe that everyone walked through the gates for free!
Thank you Vintage Wings!
Toronto Arrow…..view from inside the weapons package opening looking towards the tail. The landing gear braces look similar and there is a hint of day-glow orange on the aileron actuators.
No orange on the replica at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum.
JDK?
I’m with Zeb…
Avro Arrow replica – Toronto Aviation Museum
Any mention of plans for the CF-100?
Hi Andrew,
Excellent photos!
Did you get a chance to peek into the museum expansion area?
Thanks for sharing,
I recall a number of Cosmo’s sitting on the ATESS ramp at Trenton about 15 years ago awaiting sale.
Looking good Peter!
Thanks Martin!
Absolutely
Thank you Nils!
