The website says that Tracker 1501 is currently being refurbished by the museum.

There is an issue with the Avenger’s wings and as you can see they need some support. The aircraft lay submerged at the bottom of Bedford Basin for almost 20 years after ditching in 1953, it later spent another 25 or so years as a gate guardian at CFB Shearwater. The corrosive maritime environment and planes don’t mix well……
Either does work and the flypast forum!
I was told that the CF-101 (101063 according to (http://acam.ednet.ns.ca/voodoo/voodoo.htm) and the CF-116B don’t meet the museum’s mandate to preserve Canada’s maritime military aviation history and they may trade the aircraft in the future.
Andrew,
It looks like everything now inside, there wasn’t really anything outside at all. I was told that the museum does have a few more aircraft stored on the base, including a CF-101 Voodoo.
Peter,
I don’t know when the museum received the tutor or where it came from.
and the last few.
a few more…….
Welcome to the forum Bob.
I have been up to visit TAM a few times and view the progress on FM104. Sorry, I don’t have any info on where you can locate a Martin turret for the project.
How are the other turrets coming along?
Regards,
a few more.
A few pictures of the arriving aircraft on Friday and the Saturday airshow….
Don’t know, I was only there for the Saturday show.
There is no doubt that it was a great show with a great line up!
I hear you! We watched most of the airshow from the side of the highway.
My dad, brother and I gave up looking for a place to park our lawn chairs that wasn’t obstructed by huge tents or near any annoying generators!
Nice shots Andrew!
I’ll try and post a few when I get a chance.
The panel did come from a UK seller. Could there be a possibility that the center switch only be the gun safe?
Thanks for the help.
