    Tim,

Always keep your eyes open and don’t tell your wife how much you are spending!

As for turret parts (structural components), I personally have never really seen any reproduction parts for sale. The structural components themselves are very difficult to find, but it is the usually the smaller electrical/gunsight parts that are easier to find.

But, I’m still looking for a MKIIC gyro gunsight!

Keep an eye on Ebay. I have found that when it rains parts, it always pours!

    Happy hunting!

    Hey Mike,

    Nice shots. Great website too!

I thought I read that you did some air-to-air shots. With Potter’s collection?

Will the new hanger be open to the public?

Isn’t this the remains of a Rose tail turret cupola?

Doesn’t look like Fraser Nash to me.

Difficult to tell, but it looks like the hydraulic service could possibly enter through the top of this frame?

Doesn’t look FN to me either.

These are the ejection seats in our collection:

Two CF-100 Martin Baker seats, one Lockeed F104 C2 seat and a Lockheed T-33 seat.

    Peter,

No, I don’t believe that I have talked to him before.

You are welcome to pass along my email address to him.

    Hi Peter,

I hope to have one turret rotate/elevate. I want nothing to do with working machine guns.

Thought I’d share a few pictures of my latest finds.

Two servo feed mechanisms (ammo feed) & one turret control column.

It’s a great thing you did Fluffy!

Do you know of any drawings for the oxygen economizer cover in the FN121 turret?

I’m also looking for a drawing to frame or post on the wall in my shop. Would you recommend any?

Peter: I’d love too, but the outside looks like an old oil tank!

I ordered the drawings last night and got them this morning. I’ve only had a quick look at them and they don’t look too bad. There are probably a few part nos that I can’t make out.

I just finished printing them out on 24 x 36″ here at work.

I have bought a few drawings from Lancasterrestoration.com. Has anyone bought the entire lot of lanc drawings?

    Thanks again Fluffy!

    Thanks Fluffy,

Just had a look at the previews of these two drawings. Do you think that they will be legible?

    Thanks for your help guys.

I will try to get a closer look at them on the weekend.
