Sorry Ollie,
I have no idea if this is the same type that Shuttleworth has. My internet searches haven’t found anything and don’t know where another might exist.
Peter, do you have any pictures?
I am located in Canada, no affiliation with the Shuttleworth collection.
Hey Peter,
I heard of a story like that too……
Chris & Peter,
Daryl Kramp is the MP for the riding of Prince Edward-Hastings.
Regards,
Thanks for posting the additional pictures Cees.
A good article can be found in this week’s edition of “The Contact”, CFB Trenton’s newspaper.

It can be downloaded in .pdf format. They also have archived editions too.
Regards,
BC and Peter,
Yesterday was the first time I saw the Anson and I had no idea that they had even had one. I would have asked where it came from, but everyone there was focused on the Halifax and cleaning up from the day before.
Here are a few more links to some local newspaper articles:

Setter,
There is no way for her to go outside. She is now mounted up and on wheel supports and there are no hanger doors in the building. The engines are fitted to the aircraft. I really can’t guess how much is original, but a lot of the components have been replaced. The entire nose section forward of the cockpit wind screen was destroyed either when it ditched or sunk and they have done great job re-constructing that part of the aircraft. Including the bomb aimer’s blister!
Barry,
I personally don’t know who the guy is touching the wheel. Probably former aircrew or a member of the Halifax Association. Just thought I would snap his picture when he was posing for a family member.
Regards,
It looks like they are going to take-on this Anson as their next project!
And a few more!
A few more……
one very small picture here:
Saturday’s unveiling is by invitiation only for the members of the Halifax Aircraft Association.
I’ll be there first thing on Sunday!

World’s only Halifax bomber to be unveiled Saturday
They are planning to have a simulated take-off of the Halifax as a part of it’s unveiling. Cool!
I really hope that the general public will get a chance to witness this display after the official dedication.
Very good point about the FN64!
We all know how difficult it is sometimes to find a aircraft in flight after it has slipped out of the view of a camera lens!
