yes i know its probably just the desert/sand colour of flight suit, but it does look like he’s naked!

F-15

This is a photo I took of an F-15 intercepting a chartered 737 over Germany in 1992. I was returning from an ATC camp at RAF Laarbruch. The flight was from Wildenrath to Luton, and I believe there were 2 F-15s. They were doing practice intercerpts of civvy airliners. I have no idea where there F15s were from. Spangdahlem?

Sorry about the poor quality, it was taken using a cheapo 35mm compact.

I remember seeing a ufo program about similar flying phenomenon. They were called ‘tubes’ or ‘rods’ but flew around the sky at quite low level in very fast circles, kinda like the way that insects fly . I havn’t found any other info, but i did stumble across this page, with pics and a video…

edit: Just looked up info on Rods and they appear to be a hoax. I am so gullable. 😮
