Didn’t Concorde 001 only have a parachute and i think that stopped quicker than any other aircraft in that time, and Concorde’s approach speed was way way higher than normal aircrafts.
Yes im sorry i couldnt agree more with you on that one, it was a aimless loss of life, and i am sorry for all the family members of the people that died, i have not experienced this within my family and i cant imagine what it must be like.
I’m pretty sure that i read somewhere that planes used to land with the wind, but that used to cause a lot of overshoots, that why it changed i suppose.
