This flight in a two seat Spitfire is now available for £2300. Normal price £2975. It’s with Spitfires.com and can be taken from a number of different locations either this year or next.

I do despair sometimes of the lack in f knowledge or interest in the younger generation. I asked my two stepsons ( late 20’s) what they knew of the Battle of Britain. Nothing! They both went to a good private school and have good jobs. Trouble is, they get their view of the war from American war films.

The flight is already paid for at the full price of £2975 so it shouldn’t be any skin of their nose. I am offering a £500 discount.

Hi All,

I’m really surprised that no one seems to be interested in the discounted Spitfire flight I have for sale? I thought this forum would be the perfect demographic. Am I missing something? Any advice or recommendations as to where I might find a buyer gratefully received.

Thanks @dhfan for this information. I’ve heard nothing from @tonyadams as yet. I’ll give him another 24 hours before editing my post. In the meantime, I’ll be running a classified ad in ‘Aeroplane’ early May.

Fair comment but this is completely legitimate. No money will pass hand until the buyer is given all the details including speaking to the company providing the flight.
