Two Meteors for Malta Aviaiton Museum
Parts of the two meteors T7 WL360 and NF14 WS774 have already arrived at Malta Aviation Museum. The fuselages and other section are expected to arrive in the coming week so that assembly of WS774 can begin soon.
Malta Aviaiton Museum houses an interesting collection of 15 aircraft comprising of Spitfire Mk IX, Hurricane IIA, Fair Swordfish (skeleton), DH Tigermoth, Le Pou Du Ciel, Fiat G91 R, 2 DC3s, Beech C45, Hawker Sea Hawk, DH Vampire, DH Sea Vennon, Cessna Birddog, Lightning Cockpit Section, BAC 1-11 Cockpit section and now a meteor NF14 and Meteor T7.
This museum is located on the former RAF Ta’ Kali airfield, between Mosta and Rabat on the sunny island of Malta. The museum is definitely worth a visit. It is growing at a very fast rate and a forth big hangar is planned to be build soon.
