I think you’re correct with no.8 being Aberdeen . I recognise the company name on the silo behind the a/c.

Try the BAA’s website; the timetable for STN-PIK gives the a/c type on each flight.

IMO the old Britannia livery was very dated; too many stripes and dull colours. The current colourscheme reflects the trend set by other carriers. I’ve never been too keen on the TUI tail logo though.

How many weekly package hol. flights(ie. excl. loco) in total will be operated from LBA next year? It will be barely anymore than from HUY..

As we have seen, Continental are starting alot of new transatlantic services to new regional detinations with 757s; maybe the etops 737-800 will make an appearance too when certified??

This happened at LHR a few years ago; 27L/R and 9L/R used to be 28L/R and 10L/R.

You have to be very careful with that from now on. I’m not sure if it was BA or VS he was talking about, my boss has found out when booking his next trip that the airline was changing its terms and conditions and that anyone who failed to honour the return leg of their trip would from now on be charged for the price of a single ticket- i.e. they’ll charge your credit card for the difference.
I’ll try to find out which airline he was referring to.
This policy(which I can hardly believe) is absolute rubbish; if you’ve paid for a return ticket then it shouldn’t matter whether you actually use the return portion. Supposing you book a return ticket which you plan to use then genuinely can’t make the return flight due to force majeure. I doubt the legality of charging your credit card at a later date for a no-show.
I have heard of people booking a return tkt on the basis that the outward portion wouldn’t be used; when the passenger didn’t show up the airline cancelled the entire booking.
