Yes but even basic cars by todays standards are nippy compared to the older cars.
Yes they are. Most newish cars can do 100+ mph. But having a classic car isn’t about speed.
Hi All,
I know it is celebrated as a Christian celebration but wasn’t it originally a Pagan ritual ? As far as I am concerned you either like it or lump it, I do agree though it has been commercialised to death bringing all the problems trying to keep the little cherubs happy for two days :highly_amused: anyway it’s about giving not receiving I think everybody should give a little at Crimbo and I am as tight as a Nun’s proverbial dooda. Anyway here’s to all you scrooge’s out there :highly_amused:( HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND AN EVEN HAPPIER NEW YEAR )
Geoff.
Have a good one Geoff and your I’m sure your rug rats will love it.:stupid:

Happy birthday Baz, sorry, I don’t know you but all the best.
Spitfireman, I’m off to make some trim tabs for a Mk2 Spit tomorrow, I will do it in your name.
Baz all the best I’m just joshing.

Ah – it must be the sign language!!!
Far from it snafu, I wouldn’t stoop that low. I say what I think face to face in person. 😎

Fingers crossed we are jumping into our motorhome and going to Bath, the place rather than the tub:love-struck:

Isn’t the mini an understeerer?
Moggy
Yes it is, I got my first mini around ’82-’83. That said I couldn’t afford to get it through a test or to replace it’s bald tyres, so it did understeer.
I have driven once recently, it was gutless and wasn’t that much fun.
Turn the clock back 30 years and it seemed quick and it was fun, but not by todays standards.

Simples, have two sets of wheels, one with winter tyres and the other with normal. Sorted.
But having a 4×4 doesn’t help when a muppet up the hill has got stuck. You may have all the grip in the world but if the road is blocked, it’s blocked.
Another thing I noticed when I was driving for work was the 4×4 drivers doing 70+ in the snow, yes they had traction to get to that speed, but when it comes to stopping they are the same as a 2 wheel drive car.
Most 4×4’s weigh 2 tons+. Not good for stopping.

Thanks, AA livery is a big improvement, but something seems amiss I can’t put my finger on it.
