This evening BBC Newsroom South East were reporting and I paraphrase, that the recent bad weather meant that they would need to employ a less satisfactory method of lifting the Dornier than they had originally planned. Anyone have the details on what that might mean?

I can’t see why they wouldn’t stick to the orginal plan. But the media do like to speculate. Even the BBC….No comment.

More PC correct dribble. Poles and the Irish have a great sense of humour. I doubt any offence will be taken.
I’m a Yorkshire man and the times I get slanged off for being tight you would’t believe, but so what.

Before you compare us Yorkshire folk to the Scots, don’t bother.

We tried to teach them how to be, hmmm frugal, OK tight. Forget it the Scots will never get the idea, it’s not in their nature.

BTW, I can peel oranges in my pocket.

Please stop taking offence at stereotypes, that’s al they are. It’s all tongue-in cheek.

We should be able to able to poke fun at others without been lambasted, as long as it is done with humour way with no malace.

PC correct peeps take cover, I have used the same shop for over 30 year and I still call it the **** shop. Is that racist?
The owner doesn’t think so and I don’t either.

I saw on the Midlands news (ITV) this morning that it was supposed to go to Cosford this weekend. Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

    The latest update I can find, so not this weekend;

Do you really think the English defence league would do this? Deface a memorial to 55537 members of bomber command who gave there lives for this country?
I don’t think so. I know you don’t say this, but I’m getting pretty Sick of people spouting off about how we can’t say this group did this that or the other but it’s ok to blame BNP EDL UKIP or who ever. For gods same Britain get some bloody back bone!!! How come that bearded jock can put posters up and get away with? I’ll tell you why, because we’re bloody spineless.

Yes I do think they would, or certain factions within the group would, the same as radical Muslims would. All organisations like BNP, EDL, are intrested in doing is stiring up ratial hatered.
My comment was to suggesting it would be a good idea not jumping to conclusions. We can’t say this group did or didn’t do it because we don’t know who did it yet. Whoever did it should be hung.
However I’m not sure who you mean by the ‘bearded jock’? Is it that British ginger ‘Muslim’ who has been putting up Sharia law stickers, if so I think he needs to lay low for a very long time, quite rightly so.

Do you think I support radicals like Adu Quatada? Please give your head a shake.
From your post I bet you would vote for BNP, EDL, should you have chance.

How can you tell he isn’t an ‘average EDL member’ he’s got a huddy on, he’s on CCTV but you can’t see his face!

Daily Mail readers must have increased by about 500% over the last week.

Just spent two hours on the virtual tour of the museum and the a/c and have only managed to get around 20% of the site. Very impressive, it’s a pity that the defence budget cuts have taken affect with some halls and tours curtailed.
