I run a spreadsheet which I list all the exact a/c(and the date/route) that I’ve ever flown on(sad/mad? I know). Just out of interest does anyonelse on here do the same? Worse still; I know from memory most of the a/c I’ve been on. I always like to fly on different a/c rather than ones I’ve already been on.

I don’t run a spreadsheet, but I do keep a record of the regs of aircraft I’ve flown on, I also like to fly different aircraft. I had to make do with G-JEDK both ways when I went to BHX in June. 😉

Excellent pics, especially the last one in the first post, it really emphasises the huge wingspan of the A330. 🙂

Never seemingly visible to the naked eye?

Only in those sort of conditions where the air is damp? 🙂 Vortices are there all the time, but aren’t always visible without the help of condensation and moisture in the air, or smoke.

only 6daily because the Scottish Executive (Edinburgh based) used Glasgow tax payers money to get them to cut down on there GLA flights.

6 daily?! 😮 and I don’t think so, it’s the airlines who naturally want to reduce capacity over the winter like at other airports, EDI, MAN etc

I thought EDI had a daily 757 service except a short time in the winter ?

It does, and I don’t think GLA is daily either, 6x weekly for winter.
    Sorry GLA767.
