🙁 this is a sad day no more lovely noisy Ryanair 737-200s.You mighnt reliase it now but youll miss them. Some of the last classic airliners flying in Europe.
What’s changed? We already knew that they were being retired. All that’s happened is a buyer has been found. December 2005 is longer than I thought they would be staying in service for though?!
I probably will miss hearing them at EDI 😉 , it’ll take something special for me to get on one now before they are retired!

I used to frequent Ingliston when there was convenient
holes to poke a SLR lense through, the new fence put paid to that.Hopefully the new taxiway will open further opportunities for ‘taxi’ shots. 😉
Yeah, I’m sure you’ve told me in the past, the new fence is useless for any such opportunities.
I agree! 😀 A completion date? 8th of November rings a bell?

Good news about the beach! 🙂
Regarding MTOW, not sure, all I know is that the runway is about 7500ft and AF get their A343s off of it direct back to CDG, not sure of what- if any- restrictions are placed on the flight?

I hate Sundays at EDI..too much market traffic. 🙁
I know what you mean, not too bad at the Ingliston car park, but you being a photographer that isn’t as viable a spot, and Spooks would be somewhat busier.

Saturday. Not Sunday then, there happened to be consecutive BE 146 movements while I was there then. BHX and SOU flight I presume…

Indeed, unfortunately the recent hurricanes have got rid of the beach, hopefully it’ll be re-generated for next summer. 😉

Those pics from the Maldives seem to define the word ‘breathtaking’ pretty well I’d say, they are all superb, thanks for showing them. 🙂
