normally, I’d oblige.
Alas I do not have the time… I depart for greece in 2 hours. I hope this thread is still going in a weeks time 🙂
Your flight from GLA?
23.00 TCX081K ZAKYNTHOS
I thought no night ops were allowed at the airport, or is the turtle breeding season over? 🙂
Sorrt for going off topic! 😮
Excellent report and pics. 🙂
Looks like you got out just in time. I didn’t realise the destruction in Haiti had been quite so severe! 😮 😮
After some searching I have decided I don’t have a pic of it as the main subject. But it is visible in these two 🙂
How long since you’ve seen one of these in the UK?
A year or two ago at the Leuchars airshow. 😉
Nice pics. 🙂
They are getting rid of their Boeing fleet before the year is out I thought?
Fantastic!! 😮
Isnt this just a fantastic photo?
Sure is, except for the dodgy ad which is throwing stars out of the photo! Flown G-PIDS too. 🙂
Read on PPrune that a F100 is stuck at DUB with a problem with it’s nose gear I think?
Taken before I discovered the zoom button on the camera! 😮 I count 8 or so?
Wow! Excellent pics, thanks for sharing them. 🙂 The cloud formations are quite extraordinary, the sunset pics are especially good.
I wish the 100kb limit could be increased…
Don’t we all? 😉 Excellent pics, taken from the railway bridge this time though? 🙂 I see the Air Scotland B752 has recovered after the chaos it caused the other night there…
What is your favourite aircraft/airline you’ve seen in a departure lounge while waiting for a flight? Mine was probably a Monarch A330 at Tenerife, now you think with my local being MAN im abit stupid, but it’s only because it looked so close and had a silver Nose-cone.
MANAIRPORTMAD!! 😀
That’s easy! Waiting for my YYZ-GLA flight in 1998 we were waiting in the departure lounge and this Olympic B742 pulls onto it’s gate right up to the window by where I was sitting. My face = 😮 , sounds simple anough, but it just stunned me seeing this huge 747 come so close, then standing at the window watching the engines wind down, the jetway pull up and the pilots complete the remaining work needing done. It was partly what got my hooked on aviation. 😎 😀
Ahh… memories. 🙂
Excellent! 😀 Mull and Iona, two Isles that I have visited. 🙂
I give in! This is all jsut one big wind up isn’t it?! 😡
