I’m sure they have already publically stated this, that EDI will see more smaller aircraft instead of less but bigger aircraft.
I hate this categorisation! 😡
Still we had two widebodies at EDI(777 and Excel 767) in the same day- yesterday. BAA must have been on crack yesterday to allow that to happen!
You say 7th, the report says 8th. 😉
Obviously they’ll have to wait until the taxiways are finished so they can rob us- yet again- of having full length taxiways. 😡
I was wondering about that as well. Thank you. 🙂
I guess so. 🙂
I wonder if it will always be an EDI based aircraft and an EXS code.
If the GSM code ever appears on that flight that means it will be G-GSPN or G-OTDA and they will be wearing their new livery! 🙂
Thanks for that Dan, that’s interesting as Flyglobespan don’t seem to be offering the flight for sale on their website.
Yep, August 12th 2002.
Interesting. He’s visited before so you never know. Don’t think I’ll get the chance to see him though- if it is true.
It’s a mates birthday tomorrow so I can’t make it. The next time I’ll be at EDI is the 3rd of June. The crack of down and late evening. 🙂
I wasn’t at Ingliston, I was at the other end of the runway at the railway bridge, just past the Cargo Centre. Check out my thread I’ve just started, still not quite got the photos ready. 🙂
Wow, that was a NEAR COLLISION in the last one! 😉
Nice pics.
Adding to what Bmused said, the CSA 735 used more runway than the Vietnam 777. I got a few pics myself from different locations that I’ll post later. 🙂
The website says the SAA 747 will be flying both days.
South African Airways South Africa B747-400 Flying (23/24)
This is all over airliners.net. The pic of it looks horrific. Will 2E open ever again before it is rebuilt?
Yes, the 2nd of June is when it will be making it’s first appearence at EDI. 😀
