Is that UPS 767 a regular? I saw one when I was there back in Feb in the new colours. Is the Channex 737 for the EDI mail run? I think it could be.
When I did my work experience I wasn’t even going to be allowed to work in the terminla, nevermind the tower! 🙂
That as well of course, for the pilots! 😀
What can I say Moondance?? The quality is beyond words! You are perfectly highlighting what is so so great about air travel. The Views!!
Are they not props? 😉
Probably a DC-9 belonging to a US airline. Maybe NW or Midwest?
That’s correct it was infact Easyjet and not BMIBaby that stopped EMA-GLA. 100% sure on that one. 🙂
Damn, can’t make it guys. Being exam time and all. I should be good for July/ August time.
I may be up for one over the summer months at EDI, if anyone is interested, don’t know exactly when though.
Well this sounds good, but any news (or ideas) when they might start their cadet sponsorship scheme again? I don’t think they’ve run it for years, and I think they’re running into trouble with the amount of pilots retiring and not enough coming up the line to replace them. Cadet sponsorship maybe one of the only ways I’ll be able to get into the right-hand seat, and hopeully it picks up again with all the numerous airlines that offered such schemes before 9/11.
I’m with you entirely on that and am in the exact same situation. Although, martin has brought me round to thinking that the APP at Oxford may not be as out of reach as I first thought.
The cargo aircraft at PIK are not there solely for delivering cargo to Prestwick, they only stop there then carry on elsewhere to their finla destination, normally somewhere in the US.
Plus, as well as all EDI’s dedicated cargo flights, a lot of the passenger flights will be carrying cargo in the hold.
Beside the purple gorilla ! (EDI guys will understand) 😀
Ah yes, how can you miss it?! 😀
Excellent!! 🙂
In a big open car park by any chance?
Hey Dan, I though that the airline operating the ATP there, had gone bust? Obviously not it would seem.
Looking forward to their announcement regarding their routes.
Livery is fine, yet another conservative effort though.
Go Wizzair! :p
