Yeah, they’re all working just fine now. Looks like a good airport, look forward to it in june.
Lol, maybe he was from furthur North where up there if they come down South to access civilisation 😉 their accents are often mistaken for being Irish like. 🙂
I can see them all now except the KLM 737, great pics! 😀
They needed a bit of persuasion to show by continually clicking the ‘show picture’ option.
Wannabe Pilot, your link doesn’t work for me.
Still can’t see the pic you are particularly proud of! amongst others! 🙁
What’s wrong with the Scot’s accent? 🙂 I like it, not that I’m biased! :p That’ll be em one day hopefully! 🙂
Can food poisoning affect you that quickly? Within 1/2 hr or thereabouts?
Wow, that is a great website. Will come in very helpful.
Thanks for the link! 🙂
I would say that you are much more likely you get a 763.
I have no experience of flying one, but I know that they have no PTVs.
Excellent photos! Jet2 seem to me to be a very good airline. Unfortunutely I sincerely doubt I shall ever fly them.
Great livery too! 🙂
I can only see the first three, Transavia at the gate, Duo getting escorted and SnBrussels about to take-off. 🙁
I should have a bit of time to spend there on the 3rd of June, can’t wait! 😀
I reckon your best bet is DUB-JFK on Aer Lingus and then JFK-Santo Domingo on AA, of course all through the same alliance, Oneworld which makes it even better.
Apparently aircraft would be A330 from/to DUB, obviously.
A300 to/from Dominican Republic.
Do a search on expedia(for price), or amadeus(for options and availability).
It’s not too unusual, if I were doing your trip then every single airline and aircraft and airport would be a first for me! 🙂
I’m hoping for a few more firsts for myself in June, if all goes to plan then it’ll my first flights on a turboprop- Q400, my first flights on FlyBe and my first visit to BHX, plus on a more pointless note, my first flight in June. :p EDI-BHX-EDI.
Can’t wait for that trip report! 😀
I’m just being a nosey bugger, it’s not exactly the easiest of places to get to so I thought it would have to be a exotic set of flights! :p
A 3 hour delay last year with Flyjet trying to do MAN-HER.
No reason was given, but I presumeed it was because they had to source an aircraft, or to put it differently they had no aircraft to operate the flight.
In the end we were put on a Finnair B752 OH-LBS, operating for Air Scandic who were operating for Flyjet! 🙂 To put the icing on the cake there was no food for the whole flight except those pitiful little rolls you get normally with the hot meal.
Wannabe Pilot, I’m sure you’ve already told us, but tell me again, how are you getting to Borneo!? Qantas?? 🙂
