I’ve enjoyed hearing many great stories about the OHB days over a pint or two down at the Barley Corn.

Believe this maybe another great John Rigby photo.

Did any of you chaps do time at Hatfield?

I lived in the porta-cabin city next to the famous hex concrete pan.
There’s a bit of me in the 125 and 146.

The accountants are running the asylum now 🙁 .

Wash wreck war grave – local news report

Out of the woods and into the wash.

The report in the local Lynn News states the plane crashed before the end of the war and was discovered on Tuesday by Lynn’s deputy harbourmaster Captain Paul Bailey.
Royal Navy divers inspected the wreck to check for explosives.
It is not in the shipping channels and had been reported missing at the time of the crash.
Because the bodies of the two crewmen were still inside the plane, it would be treated as a war grave.
The MOD will be carrying out further salvage operations and are expected to reveal more details about the wreckage in the next couple of days.

    Excellent image.

Has anyone got the photo of the Black Knight cutting the corn field?

    Who’s going full circle then!
