Also fitted to Shackleton and no-doubt to others, 2 required for a B1 ! One on the RH panel and one on an extra panel to the left of the main LH panel.
The numbers are hundred of feet and the big number is thousands of feet.
Just swotted up on this some more, the above is true as written but on the B1A, the RH panel position is occupied by the thing that Mike says.

Looks like an engine vacuum gauge for a non-supercharged aircraft. Air Ministry crown so before 1944.
Judging by the photo it has been full of water and the dial screws have rusted away.
May have been a luminous pointer so worth getting it checked for radiation before venturing inside. Do not blow or suck the rear orifice for the same reason!
