Hmm, might not be that easy.

Just looked at a mk6 and the front is held on by a soldered band and the glass is cemented in from the back. Also, the ‘aeroplane’ may be fixed to the glass.

Extremely unlikely and may in fact never have been fitted. Does the serial number end in 41? – that would date it to 1941.

“Did you scale from gun button? “

You mean the flip over FIRE SAFE thing? I would like to scale off this, are they standard and does anyone have the dimensions please. This is why I posted in grip collectors thread.

The other two buttons look very much like the standard 5c/844 type?

Looking at the picture, the stunt hand is having trouble reaching the brake lever and the finger notches are too far apart which makes me think I have gone a bit too large.

A question for the collectors- what is the likely width of a Bristol Brigand spectacle control wheel?

I made a paper one from a photo 330mm wide but that feels too big.

Patience is going to be required here!

The doll’s eyes look like the small cheap looking ones with the square shutter – I’ll see if I can find a picture. This looks a bit different from the Pilot’s notes which show a mixture of big and small.

Clamps are one of those things that everyone nicks so you may well find it cheapest to buy a scrap airliner panel and do likewise. Just stuff some big instruments in the holes for fastest visual progress!

Yes I guess the Tornado RTP stuff is hitting the market in large volume.

Google throws up ZG750, with a face and teeth.

There are no less than 8 of these on greedbay starting at £250 Buy It Now. I really hope this ‘Very Rare” one does not sell given the ridiculous price (or I shall set out to make a quick grand with the aid a tin of pinky paint).

I imagine there should be a clamp there, the single screw is the tightening screw and there is probably another hole opposite underneath the Plastek fascia which holds the clamp.
