I saw Harvard KF183 flying around Boscombe Down at 1030 today.
It’s good to see her flying again as it has been some time since I last heard her distinctive noise! 😎
The crack as a Chipmunks Gipsy Major springs to life!
I guess with my screen name there wouldn’t be many other sounds that I’d associate with aviation. 😀

Do they sell any ‘little Tanks’ a la ‘allo ‘allo?
When were the canards added and how many aircraft had them fitted?
Busy at Boscombe today!
At 12.10 I saw the two Hips leaving Boscombe. 3 hours later when I was walking passed the base I saw an Apache and a Gazelle doing circuits, the 2 Hips returned and landed, one of the ETPS Andovers landed -the one with the black Sea Harrier shaped radome on it’s nose and 2 minutes behind that a black Hawk landed! I’m pretty sure it was one of the Alpha Jets from Boscombe I saw yesterday doing circuits, it certainly wasn’t a Hawk and I don’t think there is much else there it could have been.
Edit; it clearly wasn’t one of the three raspberry ripple Hawks flown by ETPS at Boscombe but does anybody know what the all black Hawk was/is doing there?
Hey WP840! Look what I spotted.

Where did you see her? She’s looking spotless!
Is there only one Hurricane on display at Duxford and is that the Memphis Belle or just a Memphis Belle?
The B-17’s attending so far are,
“Yankee Lady”
“Nine-O-Nine”
“The Movie Memphis Belle”
“Aluminum Overcast”
“Texas Raiders”
“Sentimental Journey”
“Liberty Belle”“Desert Rat” (display with parts)
“Champaign Lady” (display with parts)
During WW2 were any B-17’s operated by the RAF and if so does anybody know of any photos of the aircraft?

Excellent, thanks! 😀
Oh, and I was joking about Russel Brand as Pike.
Daniel Radcliffe as Pike?
I read today That Catherine Zeta Jones will be in the film.
Spitfire G-RRGN has just flown directly over my house! Beautiful.
When I go what order do I need to visit the different hangars in to see the history of the RAF, oldest aircraft to the modern/current aircraft?
Thanks all!
I think it must have been a PC21.
