    Well said bump.

I agree entirely. If you dont like the ticket prices and think its too much then DON’T GO!

Don’t pay for a ticket and then whinge about it!

The price increase is a little thing called inflation! Live with it!

Just a quick one about the apparently expensive tickets.

Premiership football matches are about 30-50 pounds for 90 mins entertainment. Air displays are 10-30 pounds for a complete days entertainment.

can we start moaning about rooney and co instead of having a go of something that is good value for money!

You could start by looking at Ebay but most of the sites you will find will prove quite expensive.

It all depends who you want, obviously those that are still alive are relatively easy to get but contemporary WW2 ones, such as

    Guy Bibson

    etc, will be very expensive.

Try a google search on pilot autographs or have a look ar Aeroclocks.com

    Hope that helps,

I think that usually there is quite a bit of activity on the thursday and friday, with arrivals and such like. I don’t think they have a full practice but you could see a few individuals going up for a spin on the days previous.

How good would it be at legends to have a line up of bombers. Get the two lancs together with Mary alice, pink lady and sally b plus the liberator! fair enough there would be no room for anything else on the flight line though but what a photo opertunity that would be!

Agree there dave. Dont mind things like the firefly as it was just the machinery going up in smoke.

On the same site there is another compelation of crashes, one of which is hoof proudfoot in the lightning at legends. Do the people who put these clips on the web not realise these are people dying and is upsetting for people who were there and knew the deceased? I just think its ridiculous that people actually enjoy watching these videos.

    Anybody thoughts guys?

A good few years ago when building a new housing estate in the town of Worksop there were some unexploded bombs found. I think they were dropped on the way back to Norway after a raid on Sheffield. Where they landed was all fields in the 40’s so does one think they intended to drop them harmlesly to shed some weight, or did they aim for the town and were just poor at aiming?
