It will be three years before the JF-17 is testing the missile off its rails but the PAF officer could be right in the sense that in 12 months the PAF might get their hands on their first test batch. Possibly using the F-7PG as their test and integration platform.
Is the B supposed to be the trainer version or the A-to-G version?
Other than the blurryness, the geometry looks good enough for me to believe.

And hopefully the C-5s and C-17s will have some earthmoving equipment on them, as they will need that from the pics I have seen.
The priority right now should be to properly shelter and feed the survivors. The secondary task now is to retrive bodies. Thankfully it’s winter and the risk of severe disease is somewhat lessened but the bodies can’t be left there for too long without some epidemic starting.

is the design speed of a ramjet engine fixed ? i.e. once you build
it to a certain spec it cannot be throttled up and down in speed
by controlling the fuel flow ?I was wondering about possibility of slowing brahmos down to
mach 1.5 for increased range or reducing the fuel and increasing
the warhead size for shorter range ATACMS type missions.
Can ramjets operate below M2 below a certain R Number?
One thing is getting lost in the debate… the lethality of the Tomahawk vs Brahmos or a fictional M6 missile. The Tom brings 1000lb charge to the fight whereas Brahmos brings less that a two-thirds of that amount.
B4 someone starts to bring up the kinetic energy of the Brahmos, kinetic energy doesn’t replace explosive energy in many applications. Even for ships, kinetic energy will produce a nice a hole in the hull, and perhaps a couple more blkds, about the size of the missile. There would be a marked difference between what a 1000lb wh can do to a ship versus a 600lb.
Also, the Tom and the Brahmos depends on different things for suvivability. The Tom depends on low-level cruise to avoid dectection while the Brahmos relies on speed to beat hard kill weaps. Each method have their pros and cons.
I would doubt very much that the Brahmos or a M6 missile can bring the killing power the Tom brings. But that doesn’t make the Brahmos any less relevant in its threat environment.
The US is usually the first to offer and send help in these circumstances. Always has been and I see no reason for it to change.

These were replaced with the Il-76

There, there, no need to have penis envy. One day, I’m sure you will grow one yourself. Just wait for it…

[Second Prototype of] IJT to make its maiden flight soon: HAL
Wednesday, December 24 2003 15:04 Hrs (IST)
Bangalore: The second prototype of HJT-36, the IJT (Intermediate Jet Trainer) being developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) would make its maiden flight soon, a top HAL official said today (Dec 24, 2003).
“Our design and development engineers are working hard to complete the second IJT and soon make it airborne,” HAL Director (Design and Development), Ashok K Baweja said, at a function to celebrate the ‘Karnataka Rajyothsava’ (State formation day) by HAL employees in Bangalore.
The second prototype of the IJT, aimed to replace the ageing Kiran aircraft for stage II training of Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots, will have an indigenous head up dispaly (HUD)
The maiden prototype of the indigenous aircraft, powered by a Larzac turbofan engine was flown first in March this year, within 22 months from design to building the aircraft.
Baweja said, HAL had initiated a process to cut wastage in the company and asked the employees to co-operate in the initiative to make the aviation firm more productive.
HAL, he said, had enough work in projects like the pilot less target aircraft, IJT, AJT (Advanced Jet Trainers) and LCA (Light Combat Aircraft) aircraft.
The IAF has placed an initial order for a limited series production of 12 IJT’s and it needs about 250 aircrafts to train its pilots over the next few years, HAL officials said.
Union Minister of State for Defence Production and Supplies O Rajagopal, HAL Chairman N R Mohanty and HAL Managing Director A K Saxena were present at the event.

Since we’re generalizing… it’s pathetic how pakistanis act… with throwing grenades into markets, blowing themselves up, growing those long ugly beards. Really pathetic.

Omni-directional antenna or antennae. Definitely transmitter, could be the downlink antenna.
Quote from a disillusioned mind:
-Nobody apart from india recognises stuff about madrassas, they’re good means of free education..you get to study sciences, computers etc..you get free food, living…everything for free….see if u find anything like that anywhere else…there maybe few cases that link to terrorism..but not majority of them boy, btw madrassa means school in Arabic, and it is just that. btw Pakistan also has some of the best universities in asia 😀 . You’ll find them once u start thinking ‘out-of-ur-typical-mentallity’.
Hehehe
Yes, sure, they are just places for learning… 😀
This was too easy… give me something harder.
Another quote:
India can sit around and cry all it wants while Pakistan aqquires more weapons…..
Please, go ahead and buy more cutting edge F-7s and FC1s. Please, don’t let India stop you.
And regarding Pakistan breaking away from India… good riddance to bad trash.
