Try contacting through ebay sellers name (lovelizard) the mind boggles!…. or phone blackpool airport they may know the scrap merchant??? this of course may be totally useless info…. but worth a try maybe???
Fair point 😉
Though was using the posting more to see if other people showed some kind of interest in saving the nose. See if XL391’s suggestion of it becoming forum project number 2?? But not exactly seen a flurry of activity on this front!
I would be interested in exploring the possibilities, yes…
They still need to raise £350,0000 by the end of March to continue to be on Target.
Testing has gone far better than they could ever of hoped for, but they still need any and all donations in the absense of a Major Sponsor!
Please make 2006 the Year of this Delta Lady!
To Donate see,

Fantastic Vulcan pics!
Actually the programme “inside Out” was advertised over a week ago here, it was the BBC that highlighted the problem… not SCG
Crikes! 😮
unfortunate for me, missed that, due to being in the medical tent/field hospital at the time, thanks for posting, had only seen some pics up to now…. 🙂
without saying anymore…. 😡 😡 😡
After the crash, a series of modifications were put in place, all except in the BA fleet, AA and AB (Air France I am not sure of), BA then relanched them back into service, until 2003 when it became no longer economic and viable to keep them in service, and so they were retired, AF had retired their fleet In the May of 2003, but no they didnt go bust, just a harsh reality of the economic and socially changing climate we live in, rising costs on Fuel, 9/11 etc all contributed to why Concorde could no longer carry on flying, thankfully they are all now being looked after and preserved for future generations to marvel at…. as said earlier on the thread go to the wonderful “Concorde SST” site for all things that are Concorde…..
Thanks for all the tips, my son of 3 is now running round telling people “Mummys gonna be a Pilot” (lol) he also shares the love of flying…. was 2 when he went in his first helicopter, I have a couple of flight sim programs which I shall dig out, my partner (god love him) is already thinking, “Oh Gawd” what the hell have I started here, and is now looking for some hefty scaffolding to prop the old wallet up with!
Still.. poor but happy…. will make sure I take a camera and post up some pics, incidently if anyone knows who to approach for “”wing walking”, look no further, have always fancied doing that too…. thats next on the list…..
