That one is Panasonic. It happened to my boss also (on Singapore), but only to a few seats.
Every seat seams to have a local small-PC with linux, and these may have problems on an individual basis.
In AF all that to be shut down and the problem as in the server.
Moved to commercial as more appropriate. Historic is on the whole for discussion of aircraft that are out of service. Bruce

Ok sorry about this.
There are two IFE providers, Thales and Panasonic.
I have flown the EK A380 and it worked fine, also.
the IFE crashed many times, they had to do a general reset, to no avail.
