Sabotage was a serious problem.
Bruce
the slave labor they used in the ammo plants did the same thing. been a few 1919A4’s converted to 8MM here in the states that have blown the top covers, broken extractors and barrel extentions due to sabotaged ammo. afterwards you would pull bullets on some WW2 dated 8mm. in the powder would be a packet of flash powder for a camera in a little pouch inside. the main charge would go off then fractions of a second later the packet would go off and damage the gun to the point it would be disabled. i stopped shooting the german ammo dated in WW2 after i saw that…. 60+ years later still finding it in our surplus ammo..

how many planes is that total for the 5 squadrons?
robert
Maybe in 20 years when the PLAN have a true blue-water capability on a global scale and the PLAAF have a long range bomber, but is it really needed in todays current threat environment?
iran i think would be a good candidate for a problem to pop up. these people are wanting to get into the nuke bomb game. it will come to a head at some point. i would think every country needs some good defense toys..
robert
steve they killed funding for production of it. the ones built i guess are gonna keep going. i should have stated also the show i watched on it was a few months in the making. the anouncement had not been made public at that point.

So back to the subject in matter.
Will the F22 be remaining in service?
If so what life expectancy does it has?
i saw something on the military channel a few days ago that hinted until 2026 i think, unless i am mistaken. it was a show on the top 10 military aircraft of all time, the F-22 rated 5th..

Tell me about it. It’s going to cost me £80 to sort out. I dont even have 80p at the moment. Seriously. I sent off for student finance 3 months ago and nothing. That’s made me swear as well. So**ing student finance company. To cap it all, a very important politics essay was on that laptop. One due in for Monday. And I can’t retrieve it. I’m in deep s**t if I can’t re-type it before then.
a computer shop should be able to get it off the HD and put it on a disk for you. we have a shop here in town that has done it for me. granted that isnt much help being 6500 miles away. you may give some computer shops a call. they should be able to help, hope so anyway.. do you have best buy electronics stores in the UK? i know they are in several countries besides here. if you do have one they have a tech there that can do it.

Sure, but do you require live ammo or dummy? If that thing actually works you will be in for a world of hurt from the ATF without the correct permits & tax stamp etc.
303 ammo isn’t cheap like regular US .30cal stuff, you could pay up to $1/round.. & thats for both live & dummy ammo.Edit:
Just reread your post & realised you need the can, not the ammo.. n/m
we are working on semiauto modifications similar to what has been done with the 1919A4. just trying to get all the odds and ends found before this happens. the other two guys are working on the FN30 at the moment. the ANM2 is next on the list. when i got the parts kit it came with a ton of original british manuals the previous owner found somewhere. we are using the machinist prints to redesign it to fire semi from a closed bolt.. would like to find a can or at least drawings of it so i can make a new one. good close up photos would even be a great help..
