Hi Simon,
The photos are post 1951,
This crashed within 100m of Newham Buildings Farm, in fact slid past the farm house and as close as 30m.
Chris
Hi Simon,
I failed miserably to locate the picture.
Thanks for spotting my Typo, yes it was with JBG-31
any hints
Chris
Icare9,
thanks for replying.
The present owners of wagtail farm are the same family from 1941. I have had several visits to the farm, & have spoken to eyewitnesses of the crash, this missing bit to accident is who? if anyone was subject to a civilian award.
I have three accounts which believe there was but no positive name.
Thank you
Chris
Keith,

Keith,
And all who have answered,
I like the pic, since it is rare to find a pic of the actual aircraft, I try to look for shots that do not show the serial or sqn codes.
Keith,
Could you ask your friend if I could use it please.
If anybody has advice on aircraft from WWII and copywrite, can you please advise!
Is the use of old photo’ssimply like maps, after 50 years you can use copies etc?
regards
Chris
Flying or on the ground,
I am creating a short story of the demise of WF842 in 1951

Dave,
thanks for the reply,
The ACIA shots are from my visit to the site.
The other web site has got the name of the site wrong it should read ‘Dykemans Edge’ not Dycombes Edge.

Chris
