Merry Xmas to you all.
Happy (hic) New Year (Burp!)
3 words for you, which will strike fear into any classic British sports car restorer when it comes to paint mixing or matching.
British.
Racing.
Green.
Yes sir. Which month/year/factory/painter? Oh, and what was the weather like that day?
😀
Try 2. (see post 60)
The quoted text appeared but not the photos or text I typed in.

Hi Steve thanks for looking, be interesting if these Belfast Trusses showed up overseas.
Your pics are probably of RFC sheds with the standard truss design as the lattice work is normally easy to notice.
Can you post pics here?
Isn’t there a Viscount and at least 2 Tridents in the museum at Datangshan?
Over the years I have flown in a few warbirds, but most have either been trainer or transports –
C-FGNI C.54 ex USAAF
CF-OVW Dc.3 ex RCAF
G-AIYR DH.89A ex RAF
G-BCSL DHC.1 ex RAF
G-VYGL A.330 ex(?) RAF
HB-HOT Ju.52 ex Swiss AF
N8LU DHC.2 ex US Army
N2899J DHC.3 ex Ghana Air Force
N9856C B.25 ex USAAF
N73544 C.121 ex USAF
But I enjoyed them all 🙂
Have you tried asking the RAF Museum? They hold a lot of the record cards on microfilm.
Thanks for that.
There is one preserved in the UK at Caluke in Scotland. Photo taken in 2008 and it is still there.
Some nice underwater shots near the end of this Turkish video.
Very nice.
“Following Japan’s first visit last year they attended again this year and brought some “drummers” with them.”
They first visited in 2012, then in again 2014 as well as 2016. Either 2012 or 2014 the drummers were present and were excellent then also.
And if you zoom out a bit further there is a third one.
Another 60s spotter here, but Liverpool Speke
Well someone has to come from Liverpool 😀
I was born within 5 miles of Elmdon, but my dad’s job got moved up north, so I started my spotting at Ringway in the late 60’s (and I still look out of the window and see what is on approach to there).
