I collect 1950s and older aircraft engines. Its a bid odd . thats what the wife tells me anyway. some propellers and parts are mixed in the collection. 1 airplane in a lot of pieces is there also. I like what your doing on the war memorial. sound like a great and rewarding research project.

when my camera gave me lens cap error i sent it off the the manufacturer. they did a free estimate and it cost 60$ to fix. not to bad. beats paying 400 for a new one. took 2 weeks for the whole deal.

I collect a lot of stuff! I have about 12 or so vintage air craft engines . I enjoy looking at them , working on them, getting them running again. I met a lot of great people looking for parts and traveling to get them. I look at them, as a link to the past. some are real works of mechanical art. do i loose money on them. sure. but thats not why we do it. Nice tool box by the way. i collect old tools as well. and propellers, parts to stuff ill never be able afford the rest etc etc. I think I enjoy the search for “stuff”as much as owning it.

criminals will always find guns. making a law only keeps the big caliber stuff out of the hands of those that want to own it legally.waste of time to legislate it. a .22 can kill as easy as a 50cal . just not as fast.
