It’s funny to see that the Kirov class ships do not see explicitly using or achieving stealth. Their structure isn’t the one we’re used to for stealth ship. They don’t have see big plane & inclined surfaces.
Whatever, there might be something to extract from the fact that :
– both Europe and Russia do some stealth ships but never jumped into “obvious” stealth planes
whereas :
– US does some obvious stealth planes but AFAIK was quite slow to jump in the stealthy ships trend…
Indeed, at the end of the day, neither Europe nor Russia does seem to be ready to let the others take a clear edge in any military technology, except for stealth planes.
For sure, it could be because of money issue, quite a convenient answer from the pro stealth planes, but could it be also because they don’t think it’s such a big advantage ?
