is the pictire of the p-51 a straight pic or did you edit in photoshop? great picture!! must of had a tall tripod to get the clipped wing spitfire shot though 😀 😀 . what camera and lens do you use?

But Ray is sadly no longer with us and im sure he wouldn’t be offended by our comments. I envy all display pilots and wish i was as skilled and talented as they all are. i dont think you could get the sort of pictures im after with a compact. A digital slr has to be the way forward

:confused: thankyou for the advice APC104. I have also been considering buying a Nikon. The airshow season is getting ever closer and im still witout a digital camera!! I make up my mind and then i get more great advice. Maybe i’ll flip a coin :confused:

thanks everyone. Mark and Ray Hannah were both superb display pilots. Ray being an absolute master of the skies. But lets not forget other display pilots Stephen Grey, Paul bonholme, John romain are just a few. But Ray will always be a Legend never forgotten in warbird circles!!

Amazing photos. What equipment do you use?? I love the skyraider picture, absolutely superb!!!It would be nice to see some pyrotchnics at some shows in the uk
