    RE: Newcastle News

    Can i just add that BE has taken over the NCL-BRU route for a few weeks and then handing it back to Delta Air Transport while they get over this time where their parent company no longer exists.

    LAST EDITED ON 09-11-01 AT 06:17 PM (GMT)[p]I think the winglets on the 737`s look a bit big….especially on the smaller -600 and -700.

    Although I do like the 737`s!!

    My favourites are Avro RJ/BAe 146, A320 family (318,319,320,321),A330,II-114,SF340,Jetstream 31&32

    RE: Crossing the Atlantic Ocean with two engines

    Well there is a difference……there is crossing the atlantic ocean and the other route that is the most widely used….the route that goes up and round(upto greenland and back down).

    The Teesside-based Skyservice A320 (C-GTDF) departed direct back to YYZ (Toronto) this morning.

    GeForce,
    Sabena would not be the first airline to go bust after the WTC disaster-Gill Airways from NCL have already gone bust after the tragedy.

    Saab 2000,
    I think u got a little muddled up with your codes there u put:

    MCO=Mexico City
    ORD=Orlando Int`l

    well:

    MEX=Mexico City
    MCO is infact Orlando Int`l
    ORD=Chicago O Hare

    RE: BA plane fire

    Does anyone have any info on the Jetstream J32 engine fire at East Midlands as i would be very interested to find out about this.The airline must be Eastern Airways as they are the only airline who operate the ABZ-EMA route.

    Also I can confirm that the BA 777 was actually G-VIIK.

    RE: Fokker 100

    Hi Saab 2000,
    I like the Fokker F100 although i am glad bmi are getting rid of the F70/F100 cos i am sick of seeing them operating the MME-LHR route :)(It`s supposed to be a 737,although i don`t mind it when an A320/1 operates a flight)

    Brittania`s livery is a bit boring now they`ve had the same livery for 10 years or more
