Who is gonna calculate the actual number of Raptors that the USAF needs???….. according to some brilliant study 1x Raptor = 10 Flankers and Flankers have been killing Eagles in the scenario too…. so lets take it as 1 x Raptor = 10+1 F-15 Eagle

so taking that into account, the Admin has been very much one track by reducing the number of Raptors coz they might be calculating it in the above method

    So …. if 1 x Raptor = 11 x F-15 …… actually how many Raptors would be necessary to replace the entire F-15?? ……

nice pictures ….. and indeed nice to see another Thread with Tu-204 in it 🙂

    Whisky Delta,

as far as the success of Tu-204 is concerned, it has very little success to its books even after being a very competant a/c in the league of A320 Family and the B757 & B737 ….. but then u need a competent marketing and stratergy in addition to good diplomacy work to have good contracts, only then u can proceed in any market.

Currently there are only 20-30 Tu-204 in books altogether if am not wrong and there is a deal for 25 x Tu-204 to China which has not yet been delivered though the initial delivery date was in Dec 2003. The delay was coz of the financing company not funding as intended as they failed to invest any amount needed for the western avionics and RR engines which is what the Chinese are geting i.e Tu-204-120.

dont know if that has been cancelled or not, but I guess not.

So Venezuela bought Mi-35 (hotter temperatures in mind).

I think the cost was a major factor and also that 8 Special forces or room for additional 8 is just a good additional one. But Night Hunter was simply out of question aas I don think Russians are very enthuisiastic abt selling them now. But I hope Indian Army manage to make it as their front line ground roasters.

So u guys forgot abt Netaji or what????

Indian NAtional Army was created in Singapore with when the Japanese took over it from the British and the its those captured Indians along with many who made the INA —— again don u guys feel ashamed that even the Indians have forgotten the Indian National Army.

so who the hell cares abt the INA stamps that was printed at Germany and now reste with the American …… No effort still to get them back to India or for that which is Indian Historical treasures …… what the $ucking hell is the Govt doing with ‘increasing friendly relations’ with the Uncle??

that one was an idiotic try to halt the chinese submarine fleet expansion. No sane person would ever agree to that.
