Following a comment in the ‘Miscellaneous Duxford 80’s-90’s’ thread about old ‘real photographs’ rather than digital, . . . .
Seeing as this thread appears to have been my idea (it was my comment), I thought i’d scan a few of my old slides (I eventually got a copier).
My first selection are from Biggin Hill, September 1975. It always seemed to rain in those days!! Camera was my old faithfull Zenith SLR.

Aitch it is for me too. What get’s my goat is when people mis-use an apostrophe. 😡 eg. My surname is Lewis so if I own something it’s Lewis’ not Lewis’s.
Tony.

I love this site. Here we are on a thread that should be unrelated to aviation and still someone finds, by complete chance, a piece of a plane in a photo of a car scrap yard. LOL Brilliant! :D:D

Here’s mine. Fiat 124 Special T. Wow! What a car (or should I say rust bucket). I wonder if it’s still allive? Still, I loved it. Note the tin of T cut on the right. And does anyone else remember ‘Capital Radio 194’?. Those were the days.

So they are. Hadn’t noticed that. Thanks.
Incidently, there are some good videos on YouTube showing the air display at Lake Windermere and XH558’s final spiral up and away as it completed its display. Love to have seen that.
Tony
That was nice and quick. Many thanks.
