Sorry, wandering way off topic here….back to those pips. 😉

Not at all. It’s all very interesting. And I too remember the clocks before the progs but never even thought why they were there. Si I guess it is related to the pips in a way.

Where have you been hiding?;) All this has been well reported on the web over the last several months.

Yes indeed, and I’ll run it past one of my BBC engineering colleagues 😉

I’d be very interested to hear what they say. Thanks.

The pips rock! It’s a bit like the Broadmoor Siren 10am every Monday.:D

Just remember. If you want to set your watch by them, use an analogue radio.

    The listeners love them apparently…

Sounds like you are in the know? I even wrote to Terry about it (I am one of his Togs!!) and to Sarah Kennedy but they never read out my email. Perhaps it was deliberate as they don’t want to rock the boat.

    😀

As the title suggests these are all negs and slides I have worked on to get them this far.

Love the quality of these. Almost digital quality. I am looking for a decent slide copier to get my slides onto pc. Which copier are you using?

Very nice pictures. It’s been very interesting seeing the old photos in ‘Pre digital photos’ thread but you can’t beat digital and these pictures are SO CLEAR.

Great stuff and very interesting subject matter too. Thanks for posting.

The Museum Of Science And Industry on Liverpool Rd has an entire hall devoted to aviation, and entrance is free.

Well I went to the museum and it was very interesting. Could have posted pics of everything there but here are some of the aviation part. I haven’t been this close to a Shak before and never seen one flying. Awsome plane!!
