Are there any plans to restore that yellow Firefly?
Very nice, good to have another P-51 here in the Netherlands! 🙂

I like! 🙂
Ray was a wonderful person. His displays were great (both solo and with the Breitling Fighters) I met him on a few occasions and he was always in a good mood. The first time I met him I was still a kid who was into airplanes very much, and he gave me some of his time and showed me all 4 of the Breitling Fighters (Corsair, Spitfire, P40 and Mustang).
I still have some pictures from back then and I’ll never forget that. I thank him for these great memories
Superb video, thanks for posting!
The BBD in the pics, is that the same one that crashed this year at legends?
Hmmm that certainly looks good! I’m looking forward to see the finished example!
By the way, did you manage to create the little panel on top op the wing that opens when the wing folds?
Very nice, I really like your updates with many pictures. I haven’t been at Duxford for about 6 years now I think, so it’s good to see how everything is going over there!
Sad news indeed, it was one of only 2 nice museums here in the Netherlands as far as I know (the other one being at Soestenberg).
I hope it will stay, would be a shame to see it go..
Cheers Taylorman! The bug never quite lets you go, does it!
True :p
