Sorry to hear from your website, but it looks great now!
Sounds good, keep us posted
Great pics but the aircraft don’t look very well…
How mutch would the 9-cylinder rotary engine be?
Great pics
Does that guy have a website or something where he has the engines for sale?
As promised, an update! I’ve started the model last weekend after finally deciding on the best set of blueprints:
It’s the intention to make a whole series of these, most likely including the F4U-1 “birdcage”, F4U-1A, F4U-1D/FG-1D (shown), F4U-4, F4U-5, F4U-7, Royal Navy Corsairs (with clipped wings) and possibly more…
Finding an accurate set of blueprints was a big challenge (I have compared over a dozen) and I believe these, drawn by Rikyu Watanabe, are the best. And for once, all different views match up too! Believe it or not, this is extremely rare! 🙂
Looks awesome!
Of course, not to forget, the beautiful DHC-2 Beaver:
I’ve flown once in the silver beaver.
PS: canadair, the Cessna Skymaster is one of the best-looking cessna’s 😀
Does the guy still have them for sale?
Sounds interesting. Looking forward to see a MJ10 in the UK
Absolutely the most beautiful Cessna ever made: The Cessna Skymaster:
I hope they collect enough money to put the special warbird back in the air. I’ve never seen an 109 in real life, but I will.. 😉
I was thinking the same thing. He influenced an awful lot of us, maybe without knowingly doing so, but his level-headedness, his humour, patience and love of life, his family were always present when Steve was around. His advice was usually spot on…….Steve, Thank You for being you, for making our lives a lot more enriched for having known you, You are missed.:)
Well said, I totally agree. He was one of the best friends I’ve ever had.
I would like to contribute too.
Steve, you will be missed very mutch.
