I have seen the crash of the Firefly. It was horrible and something I’ll never forget. If you have seen it you probably know what I mean

Pictures of crashed aircraft shouldn’t be published. What is so interesting to see pictures of what was a plane?
It isn’t fair to the people who were envolved with such accidents I think.

I agree with old fart. If a cessna crashes, all cessna’s have to be grounded if the rule would be applied. Here in the Netherlands the government say: ‘It are certified aircraft’. So what? So certified aircraft may crash and warbirds not??

We also have people around our airfield saying that flying must stop because it is noisy and is bad for the environment.
But I can tell ya, all cars on the world burn on one day as mutch fuel as all aircraft on the world in one year.

    But you’re also right steve…

I agree with you, but the crashes with older aircraft isn’t always ‘if but when’, because most crashes are caused by inexperienced pilots who are flying dangerous aircraft. Not that aircraft are dangerous, they become dangerous of people don’t know what there doing. Like the Firefly crash in 2003 at Duxford. Part of the cause it the pilot. He had only 10 hours of experience on that plane and went already with that plane to airshows. Another cause was that he started his turn too low.

So, most crashes aren’t the plane’s fault, but the pilot’s.

Most people in London were not in panic, so one part of the meaning of the attacks has failed. The terrorists want panic, that’s something that wasn’t in London.
