What about hellfire stocks? Hellfire is a pretty well sold little missile. Or is the successor already in production? True those 70mm Hydra came with PGM capabilities these days.

That’s why it can use INS navigation only.

JDAM used INS navigation with GPS correction. INS is always on, GPS helps with accuracy.

Yeah but that wasn’t the question. It was “would you rather have one larger carrier or two smaller ones?”

Hmmm .. Red Alert? I take 3☺ carriers

Well, if your primary mission set is attacking third-world nations at leisure, I suppose it doesn’t matter that you won’t have a deployable carrier most of the time.

If you’re concerned about potentially having to fight a War with a capital ‘W’, on the other hand…

Nimitz size class evolved precisely to fight a WW. Remember during cold war, US Navy target was to defeat SU Fleet. Might be different tactical thinking, but SU did tried to emulate US ships in size (at least). Not sure what was suppose to be the weapon complement of Ulyanovsk.

Country is only regarded as regional superpower when some regional countries can fear it. They don’t meet that definition.

Now that pretty much dis-consider your opinions forever … That is the definition of a thug.

They simply don’t have same rights in Black Sea.

How the hell did you come to that? Based on what?
Military aside… Turkey OWNS the Black Sea by simply owning the only Straight that allow access toward Black Sea. They just need to mine the heck out of Bosphorus Straiths + plus add some guns on the hills above it – and you get a Galipoly situation, but with a twist … a way more modern Turkish army than before by itself.

Historically they own a lot more land around the Black Sea – I might say that even for more time than Russia.

Mistral is very paltry sum of $1.5b deal. infact Russia can offer direct employment to French workers at higher pay and lower taxes.

French Auto industry and Airbus is depended on Russia.

You really don’t know facts don’t you?
Aluminium? Titanium? Are you serious? Look at production levels by country.

There is no need for an aircraft carrier there… If it comes to it , US operates several airbases in the area… in 250Miles radius of Sevastopol.

I would really like to, but in order to be able to actually understand the meaning and importance of such tradition one needs to live the life of Orthodox Christian for many years.

Never the less, here is one link on the subject if you really want to start to educate your self:

I hope you can understand Russian because translator can`t help you that much and I don`t have time to translate it to English.
And even if you understand Russian very good I doubt that you will be able to understand the essence because that text is very short and like I said, you need to live the life with an open heart. . .bottom line, Russia is not on its knees and is becoming even stronger because Russians are again starting to live the life like they should, with faith in God (among other things 😉 )!

    Cheers!

The Orthodox priest would bless anything … Cars, Planes, Ski Slopes, you name it. Everything for the money. Magic is helping everything .

Germany really does not have choice but selling there best industrial machinery to Russia. infact Germanic control of EU has strip EU of any military ability.

There are NATO agreements on technology transfer for military usage.

Do not confuse civilian technology with military technology.
