No way is the F70/100 noisy unless you sit close to the engines.
The UK fleet has only just been downgraded to the KLM Eurotrash service in the last couple of weeks.
Mainline staff were annoyed that UK flights still had the full bar service and a decent sandwich so this had to be axed.
And yes, the interiors are past the sell – by date and are looking tatty.

Poland is becoming a very popular tourist destination.
Even Krakow supports direct flights to the USA.
Krakow could become another Prague, especially considering it is a better destination in my opinion. I doubt if all the cheap flights will be packed with immigrants. Many visitors to Krakow and Warsaw are Jewish people making a pilgrimage, or just tourists wishing to visit somewhere different. Leeds for example has large Jewish and Polish communities.
Also, Zakopana 30 mins from Krakow is a fantastic ski resort.

The airlines are changing their business class model to try to become more efficient.The problem is,they cannot estimate how many seats will be required.KLM used to have about 8 rows 3+2 and move the curtain to suit.
This meant that you could have a business class seat in economy albeit with slightly reduced catering.Not very efficient. Now it has gone too far the other way.All 3+3 economy seats with 2 or 3 rows seperated by a curtain.
For the traveller in business class,an economy seat, and a meal with alcohol for about £500 extra. The best business class travel seems to be with the Eastern European carriers, Asian airlines,or third world type airlines who have not yet caught up with this trend.

Best airport
In stark contrast to my comments about Warsaw,the best has to be from a terminal point of view,Chek Lap Kok. Built to handle 87m and only operating at 30% capacity.Best airport 2001-2004.
The terminal claims to have the worlds largest enclosed space.
Very impressive and a big improvement on I have to say the more exciting Kai Tak.
KUL is almost a carbon copy so also worth a mention.
Alongside Warsaw,Manila is the absolute pits.
Worst airport for sure!
The worst airport has to be Warsaw.I pass through about 4 times per month.
Last week I arrived at about 4.30 in the morning more than 2 hours before departure.In the area where I need to be,there are 2 scanners for about 1500 pax.The scanner guy also opens many suitcases.The waiting area is so small,I could not see where to queue with the huge seething crowd.I queued for 30 minutes at the wrong scanner.Then as usual about 30 mins before the flight,the check in desks were being closed.Many people were still wanting to join the flight.I left my bags as I have done before and grabbed one of the staff to let them know.All this with priority check in privileges.
And,it used to be worse,the mob going through the left hand scanner went to the right hand desks,the mob going through the right hand scanner went to the left hand desks.Between the scanners and the desks (about 2 metres) there were about 500 gridlocked pax forming a scrum.
This is only part of it,I could go on and on.
I have travelled to many many airports throughout the world but this a****e of an airport is the worst.
