The point is for many, the lack of direct flights.
If you pay a lot on Jet2, then you probably book late, or its the school hols.
    Its called supply and demand.
KLM are very very cheap, but the price is often killed by airport taxes if you have a few connections. My regular route to Krakow from Leeds. Usually about 90GBP to Warsaw then 40GBP with LOT return to Krakow, but, when you add 6 airport taxes which are more than the fare, you end up with 320GBP and a 12 hour journey.
As for the extras with BA,I can do without a 150GBP sandwich.
    On Jet2, only 5€.

The passengers who voted for Jet2 probably are not able to pay Lufthansa or BA prices, or would wish to do so. The key word is low cost.
What many non-northern passengers do not realise. BA are a London airline so they are no use whatsoever to the northern masses. For BA to call themselves British Airways ought to land them in trouble with the trades descriptions act.
Why have the ball ache of travelling via fortress Heathrow if you can travel from your local airport.
You could argue, the likes of BA created the low cost non Heathrow operators.
I have travelled more than most and there is no question about it, Jet2 are damned good. Sorry to all the expense account travel snobs.
Been there, done it,worn the tee shirt, now life member of KLM plat elite etc.
These days I would feel a real pratt paying full service fares.

They are absolutely Ok.In fact better than ok.
I have flown with them many times business and economy long haul and domestic.
They went through a cost cutting exercise 7 years ago so I imagine this is what happened.
They never made it onto the list of Asian Airlines not to fly with for World Bank employees.Always ok and very nice people.

Does it need to be BA lounge? I was not particulary talking about the BA business lounge which is not really the best in any case.
An independent lounge certainly costs a big amount less than travelling business class just to get free access. This was my point.

You can pay to use the lounge for about 1 third of the price.

It`s a pity that none of the courses include basic English and spelling.

I reckon its scary flying with Korean Air but low cost, I cannot imagine, you get what you pay for thrills and all.
I always remember a safety audit with KA.
A first officer was questioned about fuel on board.
He replied, “its not my job to know, its his job pointing to the captain”
I suppose its how badly you need to travel on the cheap.
Have flown with KA twice because of missleading code sharing.
The World Bank employees were advised not to use them along with a bagfull of other primitive outfits.

The whole country is heading in the same direction as Colombia so they might as well screw the airport name up as well.

The hysteria reminds me of the Yorkshire Ripper days.
Everybody was a suspect, especially Geordies.
I took 110 flights last year. If every time you saw someone who was not exactly like yourself, should you be afraid?
Not perfect I know, but we must trust the security people to do their jobs.
I have to comment though, it seems that the once per year bucket and spade flyers are the ones most likely to suspect everybody.

Laptops have been seperately scanned in Schipol for a long time.
They also do not hold back on checking the contents of womens bra`s.
In Warsaw belt removel, wallets emptied and scanned, shoes removed, laptops.
This has been the case for several years.
    Even on domestic flights.
So, the question is, why can they not just scan laptops?

One further point, I once remember at the gate in LBA.
The Servisair lady was looking at the passport of a Muslim lady to see if the photo matched. But, she was wearing the full monty with the letter box slit.
It could have been Bin Laden for anybody knew we but dont want to upset the minorities do we?
