Great pics :), I don’t think mine come close 😎 I’m useless with a camera. I also thought I had more pics than I actually do:D I don’t seem to have any worthy ones at Coningsby, Must try harder for me I’m afraid 😀

The BBMF Dakota left the hanger on time, went to the end of the Runway at Coningsby then came strait back to the hanger.

Not a good day for the BBMF, the Lancaster broke down in the same place and had to be towed back into the hanger, very sad site.

BBMF spitfire/Hurricane flew over our car as we arrived home, saw them leave Coningsby earlyer 😀

Incidently, anyone have any info on what happened to the Lancaster?
All I know is that the lady in the car next to us sais the “brakes had gone”. I’m just happy it happened before she went anywhere. Get well soon lol 😀

Also what happened with the Dakota lol she went up then came back again.
    What a day lol 😀

I was wondering the same thing, I’m debating whether to buy tickets online or not.

Those are great pics, I feel really guilty as It’s only up the road and we’ve never been, one day we will.

They’re always talking about shutting Scampton again lol it’s a bit a joke now 😀

That pub is great, I went there for a friends birthday, the burger is excellent lol:D

I think I spent half my time trying to look at all the pictures on the wall lol the people on the table opposite must have thought I was staring at them 😀

Sounds like that big summer airshow at that place on the East side of England could be more mouth-watering than usual.

Potentially 2 Lancs, both Airworthy, and 3 B-17s, all Airworthy. Ooh nice…

It seems that B-17 Liberty Belle is near-definitely coming over. Their website gives some details of their intended 2008 European Tour.

haha I know i’ll be booking my tickets early if this happends 😉 😀

But you also forgot the Vulcan 😉 😀

While debating whether or not NX611 and/or PA474 will have a part in the film, don’t forget the Canadian Lanc is due to come over next year.

Really? Wow I never knew that, what’s it going to be doing? I would kill to see, it, just jane and 474 set up together, what a picture :p

I’m glad that they are at least staying true to the events by coming to Scampton, it’s only 5 minutes up the A15 for me, so i’ll deffinatly be having a nosey in the next few weeks 😉 lol

The Lincolnshire Echo said ages ago that representatives had been to talk about having Just Jane in the film, but noone had apparently contacted the BBMF. But it was quite a while ago so it may have changed.

My deepest sympathys to the pilots family, friends and collegues.

We’ve been at East Kirkby all day and then went to Coningsby and I was so happy to see the Hurricane and spitfire come home, then we hear about this and I’m in total shock, it’s so increadbly sad R.I.P.

My mum and I are going to east Kirkby today, thought it was kind of fitting really.

Tomorrow we’ll probably end up at Coningsby again, even if we don’t try we always seem to end up there lol, See the spifire/hurricane come home, we saw them leave and I always prefer to see them coming back so I know they get back safe.
