Lincoln… Maybe today would be the perfect day for 558 to come into waddington. yes there is a do on, but there are also lots of military type people at the airfield to see this ‘do’… Sounds like a good way to show off the achievement, bearing in mind that the RAF have assisted with the project… Just a thought!

Talking of drain covers, we almost had a desaster in Goole a couple of weeks ago, went to see a friend and went to park near her house only to find a gaping hole in the road 😮
It amazes me that people could do that, imagine if we hadn’t seen it, could have been a nasty accident there. or even worse if a child didn’t see the hole, my friend has a 20 month old daughter, doesn’t bare thinking about 😡
I’d like to push them down a man hole.

As has been said, she’ll fly when all the factors come together at the right time 🙂 I cannot wait personally 😀 but I’m patient and if it takes 2 weeks or 2 months it’ll be well worth the wait 🙂

We have a beautiful large print of XM573 signed by Martin Withers, I believe the original painting is at Scampton, wonder if it’s worth anything 😉 haha only kidding, my mum would kill me, she loves that painting.

Amazing to see 558 so close to being finished, I am in total awe of those that worked on her to get her this far, they have my total admeration.
