Does anyone happen to know the display time for the Lancasters this coming Friday at the Clacton Airshow?
While latest update from BBMF only goes to Thursday, someone at work just gave me the link below which currently gives display times out to 31st August – so assuming these can be relied on I can answer my own question – 2pm for Clacton on Friday

Nothing on their website and tried phoning the Tourist Information Office, but they won’t give out this info as you have to buy the progamme – currently only available from them and I don’t live in Clacton!
Reason for wanting to know is I have a friend picking up someone from Heathrow Friday morning who would like to see them, but if they are displaying early not sure they can get Clacton in time.

Ipswich Airport Reunion 2012
Just a note for any old Ipswich flyers that may be hanging around here… the Ipswich Airport Association is holding another reunion this year on Saturday 29 September 2012, 1300 to 1600, at the Ipswich Transport Museum. Anyone with any kind of Ipswich connection is more than welcome… and we’d love to hear from other old Ipswich flyers too, no matter where they are in the world.
Information about the reunion can be found at Ipswich Airport Association website (or PM me)

Thanks for the comments – Apologies I haven’t responded sooner, but was busy updating the Suffolk Coastal Strut website with photos from our Boxted flyin a couple of weeks back
Didn’t realise my edited photos still include the EXIF – learn something new every day!
Anyway as old Shape indicated (Thanks) all shot on Shutter priority. All at 1/160th bar the Mustang which was at 1/200th. Trying to see if using a faster speed helped getting a sharper result – It seemed to but, also also almost stopped the prop, which I don’t want to do – must check out what others use. Initially on ISO 100, although upped this for a shot in the hangar, but obviously reset it back to 200 rather than 100 for some reason! Focal length mostly at 200 for the flying shots, but lower, down to 60, for the landing/take-off shots – but that was because I was standing right next to the runway! Kittyhawk sounded wonderful taking-off standing that close!!
A few more below – some how missed the Harvard from the batch above – included a couple of the visitors and a Pitts in the hangar

Thanks for looking…

You could try Exifer – It bit old now, but free and allows viewing of Exif data and can export to a .csv file, either single images or for all images selected.

If I can just bump this up as a reminder for this weekend – Thanks

‘Airplane’ huh? A typo perhaps, or have we come to that?
Well my Collins dictionary says: Airplane – n. the US and Canadian name for aeroplane
So as the quote came from an American source, in this case its presumable valid
