We called it nano because it’s grainy and tiny;)

It IS GaoShan’s Art, but he is NOT the one creating fake news using CG art, He is just a great artist.
He showed this pic to a small group of people the night before. Then some sick guy PSed it and said that it was a photo of the first flight. A few people including me started to question it’s credibility immediately that’s when I started this post however a bit later another guy posted a slightly clearer partial photo which appears to match the grainy one exactly that’s when people started to believe it.
Early this morning one of the mod in CD and Gao Shan himself came to announce that it’s a shamful fake work and the poster was warned and punished.:cool:

Looks like next two days possibly mostly sunny ( although one source shows fog tomorrow). So if they’re ready to fly J-20 “2001” it’s either tomorrow or wednesday , otherwise rain/cloud again.

Wasn’t that thing supposed to fly on Tuesday?

rumours(oh not again!) say J-20 is just pretending to be a virgin :diablo:
I don’t belive it but clearly quite a few people do, and even more joined in tonight:rolleyes:

It is said that J-20 had it first flight with russian engine some time back.
The taxi trials performed now are for the newly installed WS-1X…

The F-15 was designed as a response to the Mig-25 though. Based on satellite images, US intelligence suggested that the Mig-25 was some sort of “super-fighter.” After Belenko’s defection they found out it was more of a high speed interceptor.

exactly same story, both PAKFA and J-20 were designed as a reponse to the F-22, the actual ‘super-fighter’, doesn’t mean they were copying it though;)

We do know there was a lot of espionage going on at that time and one aircraft was developed to counter the other. There is the story of a soviet pilot who defected and landed on a US base. I don’t remember which plane he was flying though.

first flight of F-15 was several years before that defect of Mig-25

Really, I don’t think so.. Then Flanker can also be F-15. F-15 can also be Mig-25. :rolleyes:

Can’t get all of it, that Sichuan slang is so thick. Nothing to get excited about. I pick up various comments like: “It’s rolling, it’s rolling, it’s rolling. Wow, I’m so excited. Wow, that’s big.”

He confirmed that it has white nozzles… only useful bit really:D

let’s back to J-20 maybe, this event of the month?

Next possible flight date is 11-01-2011 of course if weather permits…
As 11th of Jan has always been a significant date for Chinese aerospace area.

Are you absolutely sure? Give you a link to some of PAV-2 walkaround? Let’s start with weapon bay area, OK? As one who used original factory drawings and hundreds of photos to make scale drawings of her I’d say I know this bird a little bit.

You should better just stop – otherwise you will say tomorrow that X-35s with her non-LO-kosher panel lines was also just a prototype to go away…

1. I posted those YF-23 photos just for this post

be so kind, find me many sawtooth panel lines on either YF-23A or YF-22A

2. Those photos are just proving my point that 23/22/35 do apply parallel lobe theory which is common for LO design. This is just for people say parallel theory is not important for LO or 5th gen prototypes has no parallel/toothed panel edges. And I do understand that prototypes can partially apply it.

3. I’ll be grateful if you can find me any F-35/22 photos of panel lines not agreeing the parallel theory.

4. I’ll be VERY VERY grateful if you can kindly share any YF-35 factory drawings as I’m a big model aircraft fan and 23 has always been my favorite!:D
