Initial hot test of the first 800MN Hydro press was successful today, great news for Aerospace industry!
Interesting the narrator made specific reference to the plane’s configuration and how that assists in its manoueverability (yes it’s a model etc); would it perform similarly large scale? We all heard how CAC chose this configuration for its supposedly high manouverability…
They also missed out LERX and the like but still a nice video.
My J-20 scale model did flew very nicely…
well before it crashed at nearly top speed and the nose carbon rod plugged into grass 10cm deep lol
M’kay… But there is one slight differance between two. India is a democracy u know. And has been so for the last 50 yrs or so. What India has achieved since independance and what India is today is an embodyment of its peoples free will. For good and for worse. No forced idustrializations or iron hard reforms to meet this or that fixed goal.
So if you consider this, whos really doing well here? India or China?
Democracy and freedom under heavy Class or Caste system?

I though unmanned J-6s are mainly used as target drones
Sorry to jump in on this argument:p
just want to say that IMHO it is the tiny vertical stabilizer makes J-20 looks very large.
If we get a F-22 size and shaped VT on it… it will looks like this;)
ladies and gentlemen, we’ve found the Chinese Jo Asakura/Otaku!
I think i.e. himself is inside U.S. aero industry, so…:p
MiG denies stealth technology transfer to China for J-20 fighter
What happened to T-50 not long ago was it smoothly aborted a take off after an engine surge.
My suspicion is the drogue chute cylinder is coupled with the landing gears on the J-20 and only retracts when the landing gears are retracted.
Exactly, that proved the usefulness of chute during take off.
Have a chute means you can have a much larger V1 on the same runway.
In situations like aborted take off you can have much larger safety margin.
Don’t see why shouldn’t they open that during take off.
As in this stage, I don’t see what is wrong on coupling chute cylinder with gears.
