Wow suyrely in Peru the dogfights with the F18E were the hardest…and coolest!

HI , IM brazilian and from what I read here seems like the program is dead , but nobody wants to go on public to say that . Probably we gonna lease some second hand fighters . At first I was dissapointed with that but now remebering how the military here voted on our actual president Lula ( disconsidering the forfmer pre disnts well done refomrs on the Economy) because of promisses in the area that never came into true till now ( but much did at the former one ) I fell I got my revenge !!!

LoMAC: Buggy game that the patch 1,02 made it worse .And the game is heavy like and elephant but if you have a nuclear powered system and dont bother trying installing uninstalling the patches then you should get it . Its graphics rocks but to you have a proper idea is the Flanker 2.0 engine improved with a few more planes for you .

you should make a career out of that, any pantera, elkan or F-5 maneouvering harder than 6g. will have its wings doing applauses to its pilot. you know that

Hehe good one Camaro!! 😀 In fact I thik no matter how upgraded be the F5 but at close range the Mig 29 has better chances: better engine , good HMD and dexteriority . The unique things that could help the F5 would be a Python 5 and its small size which is much harder to spot thean the huge Mig 29 . At longer ranges I dont know witch would be better if the N one from Mig , the Elta or Grifo that were/ are being applied to the F5s in the region but surely the lats have better multirole capacity not sure in air to air mode . Also we have to see that ( at least the Grifo one ) are not fully used since the F5’s nose is too small

next…BVR Derby, did you ever wonder why IAF/DF doesnt have them??? they’re still buying amraams, did you know???

Yeah , AMMRAMs better they only got Derby when they though US wouldnt sell AMRAAMS for then .

Ah dont be so severe with my love F5 . Sure mig 29 and F16 are much more maneuverable than it but F5 is too still nowadays . US uses it to teach TopGun Pilots . And F5 has a much better cockipt visibility than the Mig 21 as showed a recent article in Ariforce Monthly but probally the Mig 29 is better ( surely F16 is )

Well…it depends on what do you consider by “best equipped” AF…
There are many issues that you should have in mind. To name a few: number of active planes, serviceability, technology, type of weapons, BVR capability, IFR capability, AEW capability, etc, etc, etc…

At this time, I wouldn’t vote for Peru as the “Best Equipped” Air Force in South America.

I agree with Condor . I think Peru has the best airforce on paper since many of its airforce is unavailable . I would vote for Chile as the most pwerful one then Brazil in second and Peru/ Venezuela in third and Argentine in fourth

I confess I dont know much about the L one but the AMX have some quite advanced eletronics . To have a proper idea of the AMX-M I think you should all look at the venezuelan one. I think AMX is superior to the Su25 ( SU-39 IM not that sure…their IR jammer is cool!!) not in payload but in equipments , it has onboard jammer , colored MFDS can carry antiship missiles , lot of internal spaces for future upgrades and 4000km of range ( with 3 external tanks ) and air refuleling , good agiloity ( better than A4 , A7 and F5 at low altitudes ) .Also the AMX-M has an interesting onboard equipment for training pilots like the ALX has
