    my favaroit nickname for the F-4 is Eisensau” (Iron Sow), “Fliegender Ziegelstein” (Flying Brick), and “Luftverteidigungsdiesel” (Air Defense Diesel). the germans had great nicknames for the usa fighters

    also on a related note didn’t the conty class have similar problem upgradeing them due the the huge sea slug lancher and the small ship.

    by the way the f136 is the more powerful engine that might help the weight problems 1x General Electric/Rolls-Royce F136 afterburning turbofan 178 kN thrust in copaision 1× Pratt & Whitney F135 afterburning turbofan, (165 kN) less power

    sorry i wasn’t sure i think i misunderstooded the defrences of ssk i thought there was a bigger simalarity between them both as the are larger.

    it that the desine is similar to the comterpary nuke style sub the teardrope desine of the hull. the open water comment is about that they don’t seemed to desined for littorals areas as they have been adopted by contries with large costines with big ocenes.

    so which is the better sub in open water Victoria [ex Upholder] vs Collins class vs Oyshio class. as they all have nuke style hulls and are all ment for open water how they compare
    with each oter directly.
    will they ever take part in a joint exersise?
    and can someone plesese lock my thread sinces it the same as this one

    im sorry to say that the CG[X] is no more its dead acroding to wikapidia
    in 2006 Congress massively cut the DD(X) program, with only two ships of the Zumwalt class still planned.
    it means only two have congress funding but it still many be revied.

    but ording to wikapidea it has been cancesseled [sorry about the spelling ]

    it seems to have a very large tail is their a reson for that?

    in the imgaes of the flight it seemed smaller than than the prototype the tail plane i mean.
