I was stydying bird’s feathers the other day. I discovered that a feather when on right side in the wind has a tramendous lift force and yet it is stable by itself. When inverted it is still stable, but negative lift force pulls it down.
Spitfire wing is close to a bird ( wing tip ) feather shape..that is why it has also a need for smaller tailfeathers. IMHO !
I am not sure..pretty faraway planet perhaps. My car seems to have almost same specs as the dubious DDR Trabant. ( Trabi; 640 kilos and 540 ccm engine of 23 hp and 4 seater ).
Also my plane seem to be no newbie either ( in idea level ). Edson Fessenden Gallaudet also made and flew this ( his wing warp system also made possible the Wright bro’s first flite ).
I wonder how it was intercooled ?

I was wondering if the 22 hp APT engine is actually capable to make MAX III take off with fixed pitch prop and came up with this. I also wonder if this is legal for FAI records and so on ? Guess not, but what are pros and cons ? I think it is as eazy to take off like a glider but since it is self propelled and could go very far. This would enable to leave out the retracts ( thus lighter and cheaper to manufacture ).
I also designed the car that could be used to get it up…lot cheaper to operate than anything on the roads to day..except Aptera Mark 1( which is a hybrid with mpg 300 ).

R&R Merlin or 2 x 1000 hp v-8 automotive engines ( latter missing 800 hp and needs contras )….ooops span is 10400 mm.
Koolhoeven FK-30 “Toerist” look really interesting construction and in contrary to many other Koolhoeven designs doesn’t look fat. I bet a sporty amphibian could be developed from a FK-30.

VK-30 they talk about back seat and front seat. Here are 4 “rows” of seats.
Putting two v-8:s in row into this one would make a 1000 + hp unlimited racer btw. ( this needs dropping 3 passengers as well ).
